Our rest day was of course multi pitch rock climbing to focus on footwork before the goal climb. And what a climb Dent Blanche was! "This was an excellent week. There had been no snow for a week and the avalanche risk had dropped from 5 to 2. Although there was much skied out snow Graham took us to different places every day and on each occasion found areas that had not been skied and were a mixture of soft and spring snow. I had every confidence in his risk management and he was a mixture of patience and good humour! We had very pleasant evenings in a very comfortable hotel which was run by a friendly family. "Thanks for an awesome week. Everything is so well organised. Even from my first inquiry everything went smoothly. I received a call half an hour after my email from Janine. We discussed plans and it all sounded good. All communication was fast, efficient and smooth. We arrived at Evolene and were very happy with the accommodation. When we weren't climbing we didn't have to worry about accommodation or food. Breakfast and dinner (great cooking from Janine, especially her lasagne!) are catered for and it's possible to take sandwiches, fruit, chocolate bars or flapjacks with you for the day. Graham has an abundance of experience and despite the bad weather at the beginning of the week he was able to give us a fantastic week. We had expressed our interest in Dent Blanche and he organised everything around that. He has great knowledge about the local area and put together a fun 3 day trip. From hardcore mountaineering to rock climbing, he's got you covered. We are looking forward to coming back next year!"

"Having not been out in the Alps for a few years I wanted to have a guided week that consolidated and built upon my previous experience of PD/ AD- alpine routes and would give me more confidence to tackle harder objectives in the AD range. Everything with Frost Guiding was great. Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. The chalet apartment was a great base and the food was perfect (we always made sure we were back for Louise's cake!). I had the pleasure of climbing with Tim Neill who, as well as being vastly experienced, was great company and seemed to have unwavering confidence in our ability to climb safely and efficiently. The objectives we chose for the week were excellent, Arolla is beautiful and despite being August we often found that we had the mountains to ourselves. "We had the best time climbing in the alps in the last 2 weeks. Everything came together, stable weather, good planning, a list of objectives, and the best climbing guide anyone can hope for. Tim was incredible, he made our week. We achieved all the climbing objectives we set for ourselves at the start of the program, culminating in the successful climb of the Eiger, a highlight of my climbing career. A lot of it was down to the experience, good sense and enthusiasm of Tim. He is the quintessential gentle giant. He made sure that our climbing was always conducted safely, yet he is willing to work with us to push our climbing in order to achieve our objectives. He is also a wonderful company to be with and has a gift of getting along with everyone he meets. The chalet accommodation was good too, with Louise’s good company and the wonderful food she prepares for us. All in all a really successful climbing experience."

"I had a wonderful few weeks in the Alps. Gareth was great and we achieved a fair bit - he was very patient with me. We began with the Point Lachenal followed by Cosmiques Arete. The next day we did the Aiguille de Peigne. This was a cracking climb - in my view far harder than I remember the Matterhorn. After much discussion our week was completed by the traverse of Lyskamm. This (as you know) has been on my list for years and did not disappoint. I was ready for the cramponing but I had not anticipated the exposure. I found it best just to concentrate on my feet. All in all it was a great week!"
