ABOUT US

At Frost Guiding we aim to give our clients truly memorable mountain holidays, whether climbing the Eiger, skiing steep couloirs, or taking your first steps on a glacier. We aim to do this in a relaxed and friendly way, keeping itineraries as flexible as possible to make the most of mountain conditions and adapting to our clients' fitness and ability level.

Graham Frost is an IFMGA accredited guide and works as both a trainer and assessor in the British Mountain Guides training program. Graham has been mountaineering in one way or another for the last 30+ years, first hill-walking, then scrambling, rock-climbing, Scottish winter and the Alps, Himalaya and big walls. He had a brief obsession with mountain biking, a scary "teach-yourself" paragliding phase, and even tried canoeing. Graham is very much an "all-rounder", happy on rock, ice or skis, but above all happy to be in the mountains. Graham is responsible for the content and delivery of all the Frost Guiding courses and whenever possible will guide our Private Guiding clients personally.

Janine Frost is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with 35+ years of business experience. She is also a keen mountain sports enthusiast, having run numerous vertical KM races and competed in ski mountaineering races at International level. Janine runs the Frost Guiding office managing bookings and answering clients queries. She also makes an appearance in the chalet kitchen from time to time!

Our Alpine Mountain Guides

To deliver our program of high quality courses we only use qualified guides with International IFMGA accreditation. Most of our guides are British and have worked with us for many years including Andy Perkins, Dave Kenyon, Dave Rudkin, Dan Moore, John Orr, Tamsin Gay, Tatu Autio, Tim Neill,  and Sami Modenius.

Rather than publishing photos and CV's of our guides, we simply GUARANTEE to only employ people we trust to give you a great mountain experience in the Frost Guiding friendly and flexible style.
