Climb and Ski Mont Blanc, Europe's Highest Peak, in 6 days of Guided Ski Touring with British Mountain Guides in breath taking scenery.
The main aim of this week is to do some great skiing and climb and ski Mont Blanc. For this reason the location for the first 3 days is flexible depending upon where the best late season snow conditions lie. We will start our week with 3 days of ski touring to acclimatise and recap the skills required to climb Mont Blanc (glacier travel, cramponing, ice axe use, skiing!). If based in the Arolla valley, Switzerland (see "getting to Evolene"), then after Saturday night in your hotel we will head off into the mountains on a 3 day tour taking in peaks such as the Pigne d'Arolla and La Luette while staying in the Cabane des Dix or perhaps the Dents de Bertol and Tete Blanche from the Cabane de Bertol.

For days 4-6 we travel to Chamonix and choose the best 2 days to climb Mont Blanc via the Grands Mulets hut at a ratio of 1:2. On the remaining day we will do a day tour or descent of the Vallée Blanche using the Midi lift.
The tour price includes 4 nights valley accommodation in Les Hauderes or Chamonix (half board in a shared room) and 3 nights half board in hut dormitories, 6 days of guided skiing and all guides expenses.
The price does not include your own transport to and from Les Hauderes/Chamonix, lunches, drinks and lift passes. You'll need to arrange suitable personal insurance.
You should bring suitable personal skiing equipment including boots, skis, skins, sticks, crampons, ice axe, harness, helmet (if preferred) and rucksack. We can arrange to hire any of these items for you, please see our gear section for prices. You can download our ski touring kit list here.
