NEW FOR 2024!

For climbers who want to experience Alpine Mountaineering while appreciating the natural beauty of the alps and leaving no trace behind (while saving money on huts!).

Instead of using cable cars and staying in mountain huts to reach routes, we will walk in to routes and camp at night in the peace and quiet of nature. Participants should bring sleeping bag and mat - other camping gear is supplied.

You and your Mountain Guide will set an itinerary for the week to suit your climbing level and the weather conditions at the time. In between camping/climbing trips you can enjoy the friendly atmosphere of our alpine chalet, warm hospitality and home cooking on your nights back in the valley.

Climb in the Val d'Herens, Saas Tal, Zermatt, Oberland, Chamonix or Aosta areas on routes of your choice. Please give us an idea of what you'd like to do on your booking form (using the "Previous experience and requirements" box).

Potential objectives can include rock climbing (e.g. climbing and wild camping at Sanestch, Muveran Arete de Saille) or alpine mountaineering (e.g. Douves Blanches, Aiguilles Rouges traverse, endless possibilities).

The price includes:

  • 6 days guiding with your own dedicated guide
  • fully catered valley accommodation in Evolene for up to 7 nights as per our other Alpine Courses (see general info page for details)
  • use of tent and cooking utensils while camping
  • transport between Evolene and climbing venues

Single supplements for valley accommodation can be reserved (subject to availability).

This week is also available with 2:1 guiding - contact us for details and prices.
